Despite Jim Jones and Max B’s past issues, Jones believes Max B had the potential to become just as big of a star as Drake. Jones signed Max to his ByrdGang label in 2006, only for the pair to part ways a few years later.
Despite Jim Jones and Max B’s past issues, Jones believes Max B had the potential to become just as big of a star as Drake. Jones signed Max to his ByrdGang label in 2006, only for the pair to part ways a few years later.
Jones
says he put a lot of money into Max’s pockets and bailed him out from certain
circumstances. Jones said a lot of these artists that are singing and being
very melodic were influenced by Max B’s catalog.
