MR. BLUE CALLS OUT WILLY PAUL FOR RIPPING OFF BONGO SONGS LIVE ON AIR (AUDIO)-2013.

Stealing is wrong...I think we all know that. But it's especially wrong when a totally famous musician steals from a lesser known artist and has an excessively huge hit from that theft.

While we all agree that every artist "steals" a little, whether they realize it or not, basing huge chunks of their careers on thieving is totally unacceptable.

Well, over two years ago, R&B and Bongo Flava crooner, Mr. Blue accused Gospel artist, Willy Paul of being a thief bastard. It all started on Q FM (94.4) on Miondoko ya East Afrika hosted by the talented Rynoh every Saturday afternoon.

Willy Paul allegedly jacked Belle 9’s tracked titled, “Masogange” which had been widely compared to his catchy breakout single, “Rabuka” and most recently, “Rabuka” which was released late last 2012.

Speaking on air, Mr. Blue was vexed by Willy Paul’s actions of ripping-off the song. Here’s an excerpt of that;

When Mr blue questioned:Unamjua Willy Paul?

But end of June 2016 Kabaiser(Mr Blue) release a new  hit track ‘’Mboga Saba’’feat Ali Kiba as Audio and Video.

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT'S CONSCIOUS HIP-HOP HEADLINES AthFest.

From SOUTH AFRICA.

The band’s mantra is to bring up topics most others in hip-hop shy away from. Speech, the Atlanta-bred rap group’s frontman, is adamant about this.

“The fact that in Orlando a couple days ago almost 50 people were murdered, and another 50 were injured — there’ll be no songs about that hardly. The fact that black men, in particular, and young boys were getting shot down for the last four or five years consistently by police, you rarely hear, if any, songs about that,” Speech said.

Whether you obsess over it or not, music is always playing  from speakers at restaurants and stores, popping up in snippets on TV and blaring from nearby car speakers at stop lights.

Speech calls music “life’s soundtrack,” so he worries issues will be forgotten if they don’t make it onto the soundtrack.

“Right now with mainstream music is so void of depth and deeper meaning, and it’s not really talking about the things you may see in the news,” Speech said.

When Arrested Development was first reaching popularity in the 1990s, listeners could hear rap on the radio that was a mixture of serious songs addressing problems played among songs hyping gang life and partying.

To give you an idea of where Arrested Development stands on that spectrum, its recent album “Change the Narrative” features a song on which Speech’s reply to being asked why he hasn’t been at the club recently is “I don’t see you at the bank.”

It’s not that Speech thinks all rap should be socially conscious, but he knows his rap should be.

He believes it his mission on Earth to speak up because “God really plants activism inside people’s’ souls.”

Speech’s philosophy is encapsulated in a few lines he spouts off in the song “Devoted to the People”: “Backdrop is music, foreground the truth/ Backdrop a party, foreground a movement.”

Speech didn’t always have to fight to be heard.

Arrested Development’s history is disjointed because of its break from 1995 to 2000.

In 1992 the band won two Grammys for best new artist and best rap single. The group was celebrated as the first African-American artist to donate to the African National Congress and later were joined by Nelson Mandela on stage.

The collective that now includes 1 Love, Tasha LaRae, Fareedah Aleem, Za’ and JJ Boogie along with Speech.Since its return it’s been harder to find fans in the United States, Speech said.

He believes people can love all kinds of music, but first they have to hear it. With modern technology, many people often don’t hear genres of music if they don’t seek it out.

He practices indulging in variety himself. Speech’s playlists are a mixture of classics from the 1960s and 1970s, plus Drake and other modern artists.

“A lot of people say, people listen to the music that’s out there now because that’s what they love.

I don’t actually believe that. I think that’s what they get, so that’s what they then love. Whatever you’re exposed to is what you learn to appreciate or you just get used to it,” Speech said.

Guta66.blogspot.com's Picture Of The Day.

June 18,2016:By Edwin84.

Bayser aka Young Bablon Bizy.

Tanzanian artist Jux,His official hit-track,"One More Night"!!.

June 18,2016 By Edwin84.

What classiffies a song as good or the vice? In my own opinion, it should be well executed regardless of the style, the performance - whether improvised, derived from notation, or electroacoustically produced.

And one specific artist, Jux, seems to have perfected the art of making music masterpieces in his new song, "One More Night". He has made several hits but this is undoubtfully the first ever official hit track from the Tanzanian music protégé! Want to know why? Ever heard of a song so good that you felt that someone should make a song about the song?.

The way you dedicate a love song to someone you love? Well, this is that song!Straight from the beat, introducton to the vocals, this song has you constantly pressing the replay button! That Bongo vibe will have falling in love over and over again.

Jux is evidently one of the most promising artists from East Africa and by no means is he taking a break on his way up the music pyramid.

Want to know what good music sounds like? Give an ear to "One More Night" right hear.

Bongo Records,Swahili Rap & Tanzanians' View Of American Rap Music.

Bongo Records

Bongo records is owned by a very influential person in the Tanzanian hip-hop/Bongo Flava scene that is taking place in this part of Africa. Paul Matthysse who is also known as P Funk or Majani, is not only the owner of Bongo Records but also as talented producer, who has had a lot of input in the way the genre of music is shaped.

He has been the winner of Kili Music Award in Tanzania as producer of the year 3 times.Atthysse also produced the Album of the year in 2005 and 2006, song of the year in 2005 and 2006, best hip-hop album in 2006.

He is considered as Tanzania’s most prominent Bongo Flava producer. And is credited as one of the founders of the genre P.Funk.

Swahili rap

Swahili rap, known as Swah Rap, began to develop in the early 1990s. Led by the Kwanza Unit, a group composed of many of the major artists, Swah rap sought to bring Tanzanian themes to their rap.

Kwanza Unit modeled a Kwanzian Nation after Afrika Bambaataa’s Zulu Nation. Kwanzian Nation tried to bring positive messages to the music. These artists combined their traditional word play, evocative puns, and rhyming with Tanzanian topics to fight working class oppression and develop authentic Tanzanian culture.

However, in reality, many Swah Rap tracks have been infiltrated by words and themes from American “gangsta rap.

Famous Swah Rap Artists include Villain Gangsters, Tribe X, Riders Posse, K singo and Abbas Maunda.

Tanzanians' view of American rap music

Rappers such as Sam Stigillydaa has said, "American rappers talk about crazy things- drinking, drugs, violence against women, American blacks kill blacks. I hope African rap stays African and doesn't turn crazy.

"Tanzanians view the United States as an aggressive country that romanticizes both violence and crime whereas Tanzania dispel such a romanticization of violence and crime. Tanzanians view crime as caused by economic need, not greed, and those who become criminals risk having people brand them social outcasts.

Tanzanians also view cultural imperialism as a form of symbolic violence that relies on a relationship of constrained communication to extort submission. Nonetheless, Tanzanian rappers still use common themes relevant to American rappers such as the African-American deviance and dysfunction
