Hell hath no furry like Beyonce’s Beyhive when
they are upset. BET must have forgotten about the backlash they received when
Karrueche made the Blue Ivy hair joke on 106 & Park, and how the Beyhive
will sting any and everyone.
BET got a quick reminder when they tweeted an
editorial that expressed that Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’ album was better than Beyonce’s
‘Lemonade. BET Tweeted a link to the editorial (that they would end up
deleting) that read,
“[Op-Ed] Sooo…Can We Admit That #ANTI >
#Lemonade?”
In an attempt to calm the hive, BET tweeted and
shared another editorial.
“We Take Beyoncé For Granted” don’t be fooled by
#haters #BeyHive stand up.”
Unfortunately the damage was already done and
the hive was attacking BET’s Instagram pages with bee and lemon emojis. The
real question is, was the first writer right? Was Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’ album better
than Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’?
